Last time out Arsenal and Liverpool treated the world to a great game of comedy defending ... made better by Wenger claiming he was pleased with his team's defence.

Palace will hope that Benteke stops being a little donkey, little donkey, on the dusty road, got to keep on plodding onwards with your trusted load... (WTF is up with you people? It's Christmas FFS)

Zaha is on great form producing mind boggling performances involving pike, twists and somersaults so set pieces will come thick and fast but as you lot are so competent at defending this should be of no concern...nor should Townesend ... unless you are sitting in row z in which case **** yourself big time if he is lining up a shot...or a cross...or a pass

It is vital that Arsenal win as they are currently 4 points off top 4 but this is their game in hand. If they lose it will heighten the desire of Sanchez and Ozil to leave...and will send the blud, fam, bruv brigade into a meltdown frenzy which might actually break the internet.

Oddly confident we'll win this one which is unlike me as it's December, we're away and Palace are enjoying an upsurge in form. So there you go, lump all your dollars on Palace winning as my judgement has been f*cking awful all season.

We've played well, extremely disappointing to not be 2 or 3 goals up though, as our performance has warranted it.

I'm surprised with how much time and space Palace have let us have on the ball, even Xhaka has looked good!

We need to be more ruthless in front of goal, but also, not be careless in possession and when they counter.

It was a relatively comfortable first-half, but Palace's dangermen have shown glimpses of what they're capable of. I expect them to come out of the blocks in the second 45, so we need to be smart. Chambers committed a stupid foul midway in that half, so I expect them to be targetting him. Someone will need to tell him to be careful because the last thing we need is to go down to 10 men.

I've been impressed with how quickly we break forward. Some of our intricate passing and one-touch football is great to watch.

 

Ozil had a couple of golden chances to make it 2-0. But we've played well and should have enough to win this game as long as we don't have a brain fart in defence.
