    Maybe through boredom today - however - I purchased a small amount of altcoins today. £45 outlay. He who dares Rodney rar rar.

    It's a very weird concept. I found this website that shows there is 1500 different coins - I really had no idea there was quite so many options out there....

    Any of you in on it?

    If I lose my investment - hardly the end of the world. Spent more watching our bag of rubbish on many occasions.

    It’s like Monopoly money.....only worth anything while a game is on.....as soon as people stop playing it has no value.

    I had a go at bitcoin mining right at the beginning. After an hour or two I still hadn't mined a bitcoin, which was virtually worthless at that time, so I deleted the application from my PC.

    I'm at a ruddy loss with this boys, it's over my ruddy head. I will however give you all a little breakdown of me -
    * I bought £60 of Bitcoin two weeks ago when it was worth £10,400. Now it's down to 8,300 ( was at 6,700 the other day ) however whatever as it's a long-term hold for me, I'm talking potentially years.
    * Sunday I bought £24 of Pillar ( altcoin ) and also £24 of Golem ( altcoin ) Pillar was worth 1.32 a share when I bought, now 1.44 so a decent yield. Golem was 0.30 / now 0.35.

    I don't have a ruddy clue what I'm doing, nor do I want to. I just thought I'd ' pass the love ' onto you folk. It's BEYOND weird Bitcoin to me.....

    My idiotic mate has taken out a £5000 loan and put all the £££ into Bitcoin. I mean, what the HELL are you doing............

    I can’t get my head around the fact that it’s just made up with no actual touchable item with no protection from anywhere, if all of a sudden your bitcoins/altcoins or FarmVilleCoins disappear who you gonna call?

    It’s not for me.....until they bring out ‘The Emperors New Coins’ then I’ll think about it.

    You need a secure wallet to start with then you're pretty much good to go.

    Leave ££££ in the exchange at your peril = hackable that way.
