Crowd trouble...Anyone know the craic?

Just seen a mate who's a citeh fan saying there was bangers and firecrackers getting thrown at them after the 3rd goal went in...Any one shed any light?

 

The long yellow line of the law was in strong attendance, didn't know what it was for though. Heard there was a bit of trouble with the fans but you never know who starts this kind of thing.

 

Watched it at the pub and they showed it for a few seconds, didn't see any bangers or firecrackers but it looked to me like the Man City fans were charging at our fans.

 

When the camera shot to the fans during the game, the City fans were raging at ours. Our fans were just watching the game at that moment.

All of our fans where watching the match while they were going crazy for some reason.

 

I thought city fans would be too busy ripping off other fans celebrations to notice anything like that

 

City forum was saying we sent a firework into the home end, and both sets of fans were throwing coins and seats.

 

I find it very difficult to believe any Newcastle fan would do that with a firework, especially after Milan. Said it before the most horrible set of home supporters I've ever come across. All I heard from them was songs about how we had won **** all for however long.

 

Just going off what I read, they all said there was a loud bang after the goal and a few people have said it was a firecracker.

Bit ironic of them to sing that, they've only got 1 trophy in 30 odd years

 

lol, I heard that loud bang while they where playing the game, I thought it was where I lived..

 

One of their fans set off a firecracker in their end from what I could see, they threw a few bottles towards us and then the cops rushed over. I have no ****ing idea why but they were acting up like spoilt kids from the first minute, really lost respect for the fans surrounding the away end

Ive been in the away section at Man city before, and the fans to the left were pretty hostile then.

 

I was at the game. Firework went off in the City end after their third goal, apparently it was thrown from our fans but I was watching the game so didn't see. **** myself when it went off like! then there was coins/seats being thrown both ways, stupid if you ask me.

 

Trouble in the ground was daft. Both fans in the wrong but City mostly. Shocking amounts of coins.

Was running back to the car after the game, no colours, saying nothing(for once) and some **** booted me across the thighs. Was more worried about by phone at the time but it's sore now.

We get less trouble at Sunderland, and never get trouble at Man Utd! People still like City over United? Their arrogance is vile! Hate the ****ers!

 

Well those people are not true and were certainly nowhere the Inter Milan game when we were treat disgracefully and subjected to having fireworks thrown at it, needless and anyone who does that sort of things is pure scum.

The guy must have recognised you from inside the ground , unbelievable what a bit of success can do to them , they're quickly becoming as arrogant and stubborn as their neighbours.

Really starting to hate them now. A so called Man City fan started laughing at me today in the pub when they scored their third but he didn't even know who Barry was
