According to SSN we're after Crouch but Tottenham want to recoup the 10M that they paid for him. Thoughts?
I think Crouch is a very underrated footballer who is probably someone who would do an excellent job for us. However, I do think that 10 million is a tad steep.
When you think that he is firmly cemented as part of the England squad, he's excellent in the air and is also very skillfull on the ground for someone so tall, then in comparison to some stupid prices that have been paid of late, then maybe not as 'vertical' as you say.
I agree with the points you put forward, but 10m is too much for Crouch but I would be happy "IF" we did sign him
