Looking very good for you. Crouch will not play ahead of Adebayor, he needs regular footy to push for an England spot, think he's been told he won't get that here now. Will suit your system well.

Any idea about fees yet? I heard 6 mil for Palacios, but what about Crouch?

I was hearing 18mill, 7/8 for Wilson and 10/11 for Crouch.

If Palacios was less than 10mill I'd say you're getting a good deal but Crouch would seem a bit expensive in that split.

Apparently we're still negotiating a bonus for Crouch so he must be taking a paycut.

    Stoke fan here Spurs fans....

I was at the training ground earlier tonight... just before 9:30pm left at around 11:15.

I knew via twitter on Sat night that Palacios had signed and Rob Dorsett S S News confirmed this, I spoke to him personally. Cost 8 million...
Crouch, a bit high but, I'm sure he's taken a pay cut coming to Stoke although, I don't know how much he will be getting.. Fee is 10 million..

At least with the addition of Jerome, unlike last Sunday... we NOW at least have some attacking options, which we didn't have before.
In Palacios, I believe he's a snip for 8 million SIX rising to Eight is the inside info I have on that... Spurs fans thoughts on Palacios welcome?

Crouch, I don't need but we'll see how well he can do for us... my own oppinion. He has more skill than some give him credit for?
Always rated him but, I still think the fee is well OTT. But, if he keeps us up this season, well worth it I suppose.

Good luck to Spurs too! Can't wait to see arry's face when P.C. heads one in for us in the Cup game.. <ok>
Apart from those games v Stoke good luck guys!

Palacios will be a good signing for you, under £10mill is very good value for him and whilst he isn't great on the ball I think he's part of Pulis' plan of getting you to play better football. Also, he can play right back, incase Pulis ever decides to stop playing 4 centre backs :D

Crouch isn't held in the highest regard by us but he'll certainly do well for you in Europe, where they're not used to him. Also he gets fouled a lot in the PL but never gets given a penalty and the refs seem to relish giving freekicks against him instead, if by some miracle the refs give him more protection in a red and white shirt I'm sure he can be successful in the league again.

Good luck for the rest of the season. Hoping to finally get to the Britannia this season, I hear it's always a great atmosphere <ok>

Well he's playing two wingers now and trying to phase out Delap, amongst others.

It could be a good deal for both sides. 18M does seem like good money to us, and both may be good enough to help you considerably--though I don't know Stoke's squad that well. I think everyone here likes Palacios. He's a good player and works hard. I think there are a lot of mixed feelings about Crouch. He also works hard, he's scored some huge goals, and he's a good holdup man who works very well with VDV. But he didn't score enough for us, partly because most of the refs decided the huge guy shouldn't get any benefit of the doubt.

If Crouch and Jerome are used as a pairing, then they could do a very good job for you.
Neither is prolific, but they both offer something different and could complement each other well.
