Jordan Rhodes move to Middlesborough has fallen through...........don't know why a prem side hasn't gambled on him....maybe his wages and fee are too pricey a gamble.....or maybe he only offers a goal threat and nothing else.....
tbf Mr. Plum, if you give him enough chances, he will definitely score goals, but as you suggest, he offers nothing else, he will never track back or even press an opposition player, all the work to set him up has to come from his team mates!
Goals are priceless. Yes he doesn't have the best all around game but I don't think it's quite as bad as often reported. He'd score goals in the prem no problem.
I don't disagree .....but it seems many Prem managers do disagree otherwise he would surely have been snapped up.
Middlesborough now have Rhodes and Nugent......makes sense to have both our bogey strikers in one team.
If Evans had big bollox we could have bought Vardy a few years ago but we settled for Jason Scotland instead!
