I recall us telling you lot much the same about JET when you took him on.

Let's hope you're not as right now as we were then. Maybe you're still stuck with the real problem eh?

You won't find a bad word about JET from our lot, yes he had his limits. Was a great signing, and looking at his career we seemed to have got the best out of him. As for Tomlin... we didn't need him at the end of the season and it seems his replacement, Bobby Reid, one of our Bristol Boys, has replaced him perfectly. LT won't be terrible for you I'm sure of that, but I doubt he'll be a massive player for you. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him on the move again next summer.

You misinterpret my post.. I thought he was a joy to watch personally, however he is not the sort of player for a high tempo, high energy pressing side, which is what Johnson is trying to create.. he became a problem for team selection.

As for the person, I met him twice and can only say he is a really nice geezer.

Regards us, I have seen this new look side twice now and have been impressed.. early days yet. We went down this road last year, hopefully the lessons have been learnt and we won't get so badly burnt next time our form drops off.

He will always be a legend here purely on the goal he scored against the Gypos at the gate.

RR surprised you didn't mention Bobby Reid, said it last season, this boy is going to be a star, think LJ has found his best position.

He don't rate Reid or Bryan. So unfortunately you won't get anything positive from him until the negative post about the two are too buried. Then he can say he always rated them and thought they would go on. Bit like Ayling.

Both have to do a lot more to impress me.
Bobby Reid has always flattered to deceive. He was very easily brushed of the ball, more composure in front of goal, yesterday he missed a sitter.
Joe Bryan has been so hot and cold, needs to be more consistent.

Two goals and an assist was pretty good - I think you should forgive a miss.

One swallow and all that, but give credit when it's due.

Bobby Reid is a good player, all that was missing was the goals, we saw that last season he was guilty of some truly terrible misses in our bad run that could have turned the tide and I suspect that is why LJ pulled him from the side.

If he can continue to score in what appears to be Tomlins old role behind the loan striker then great.

No probs wizey - and thanks. <ok>

Good win for you that opening game but it hasn't looked promising since. Maybe some patience will turn it around - or maybe not?

Something we've already questioned over here.

Still, we've beaten Villa and Wolves without him kicking a ball - he wasn't involved in either game so no real bother on the playing front.

Maybe at the moment we could have got better for the money we paid you lot for him but he's either going to sink or swim under Warnock.

My guess is he'll eventually come good. As with everything, time will tell on that one but we don't seem to need him at the mo.

Unfortunately I think he may be about to spiral away from the game due to outside influences, real shame because he's a baller when he's at it.

I don't think he will be at his best mentally not playing either. he needs to be involved to get anything like the best from him.

Do you remember our Robin Friday back in the 70's? "The greatest player you never saw" to quote the book about him.

There maybe something of a comparison there. Not suggesting Tomlin has anywhere near the talent but there seem to be some parallels.

I can remember Swindon lot like this, but at least they waited till November. So technically you are worse than an inbred roundabout lover with 6 fingers, thinking the season ends after four games.

If you go up, well done, just hope you manage to get it right this time as it must be weird playing second fiddle to Swansea ;)
