At least we've got one player that caught The Voice of Footballs eye this week.

Sissoko deserved to be in there. I can't see how you couldn't have Tiote though, as good a performance as you are likely to see in black and white. Ran the game from start to finish and mopped up probably 90% of the second balls.

Tiote doesn't seem to be in favour with some of the pundits, if they were actually at the game instead of sitting on their big fat arses in the studio, he might get the credit he deserves.

Does Pardew look likely to win Manager of the Month?

Interesting, what would they do if we hammered Palace, Southampton and Fulham (please let it be) <laugh>

Would love it if we did hammer Palace, Southampton and Fulham, but not for Pards sake.

totally agree, the most dominant CM performance I've seen at our place. you were better pretty much all over the park but Tiote was perpetual motion, magnificent.

Shame he's going to Citeh to watch his mate Yaya if the rumours are to be believed <laugh> Been back to his best this season to be fair.

I still reckon Jelavic and Long will keep you well entrenched in mid table till the season end. If you can have another good summer transfer wise you could progress again. A Tiote type to allow Huddlestone to play will probably be a key target.

On that performance the thought of Tiote and Yaya lining up as CM's is frightening. Hope he stays though cause he's too good to get lost in the Citeh machine. Been some talk of Rodwell in a swap + £ maybe?

Cheers, the 15-20pt gap (as it will be at the end of the season) showed on Saturday but if we survive and at a minimum add a CB to play alongside Davies and a battling CM to go alongside Thudd we could be running 50pts next season.

As things stand at the moment, 50 points would be good enough to take you up to 6th place.

Aye that is the rumour. Personally while I think Rodwell is a good footballer, he is not destructive enough to replace Tiote. And he is the new Darren Anderton in terms of fitness. I was gonna say Marcelino but that was a bit harsh.

Come on now, Marcelino couldn't help it if he kept hurting his finger.

A bit of a 'heads up' - He'll win it if we keep winning. God help us.
