Would we sell him for 2m though? I think he's worth more than that. International, proven player in the premier league now, played every match and been solid. Plus January prices get hiked, so I reckon we shouldn't let him go for less than 4 or 5
if the bid was £3m then it would be tempting i have to say. not guaranteed a place in our first team but has been playing very, very well of late. would only sell him if lambert has a better replacement lined up i reckon.
Amazing that we released him, but I knew that was wrong. If he goes there he will meet up with his old mate Jarvis.
Can't see any of our first-teamers leaving in the window, Lambo loves Croftsy so I can't see any mileage in this one. Why would he want to take a step down to go there anyway?
we can take it from that then that wolves are in the market for a defensive midfielder, valued around the £2m mark!
I would think Johnson must be first choice in that position. I think PL's preference is Fox-Johnson in the middle but every position needs a back up.
johnson has certainly impressed but i have to say crofts has played better than him in recent weeks. i feared crofts may struggle a bit at this level but it hasn't been the case at all
A lot of people thought he would struggle at last season's level and he was absolutely fantastic and only a whisker away from getting my player of the season vote
no disrespect to wolves, but surely this would only happen if he wants more wonga. i thought he was really good on saturday for sure.
He has just moved into his new house in Norfolk and is very happy here. Can't see anything in this gossip at all.
