Anybody got an update on how Fraser Campbell is progressing with his injury.
Maybe this is why bruce isn't signing another striker if campbell is going to be back october/november time

No news is bad news, but apparantly he's expected to miss most of this season aswell! He had his Op at the end of last season and the recovery and rehabilitation is about 8 month's :sad:

I heard January at the earliest for him that was at the end of last season so for me holding off just in case he comes back sooner is a bad bad decision but, nothing new from SAFC.

Cheers lads,i didn't know it was going to be that long.
In that case we deffo need a marquee signing,i doubt it's going to happen though.
Seems to me that quinn has bluffed us,buy your season tickets fill out the ground and we will spend big money on striker, blah, blah, blah.

We will see 2 more players in IMO and probably 2-4 leave. It might not happen before the Liverpool game though.

Campbell is a long term injury and to be honest, its going to be very hard for him to recapture any form at this level, after 18 months out of the game with 2 major injuries and operations.

I wish the kid well and hope I am wrong but I dont think he will play regular EPL football again.

Is he in the last year of his contract?
If so I expect him to be released at the end of the season unless there is some significant input from him. Like cest says it would be a shame tho, damn good footballer.
