I for one wish Dejan Lovren all the best for the game tomorow night.
I (almost) hope Croatia win just so Dejan gets to fulfill his dream of being the worlds best.
He is a top class professional and deserves nothing ...
but respect
I also think he's a massive **** and I cant want to see England smash his back line

 

Is that a euphemism for penetrating his inner circle?

He is so tempting fate. Most players remember to praise the team rather than their own performance....but not Dejan. Please let France make him look a right idiot.

You guys obviously know him better than me but the jokes about Lovren seem to be a few years out of date based on what I do see of him

All you have to know is that Saints fans have forgiven/understood so many players that have left for pastures new....resentment moves on after a season or two...but Lovren has become burned into our souls. His latest comment just confirm our view of him. He may not be as bad as we'd like, but that's only because we want him to be really really bad.

Last night I thought he could have picked up a booking, however he made one of the most impressive tackles of he tournament when he hooked his leg round Kane as he was about to head it in. Can’t remember the score at that stage, but it was quality.

 

This. He looked good alongside Fonte and will probably look OK next season alongside VVD. But to say all that on camera without reference to the team - and Modric in particular - shows what a complete narcissist he is. This outburst will come back to haunt him.

 

He did praise Modric in the interview I saw - maybe there are some edited versions? He said he was the best midfielder in the world and deserves to win the Ballon D'Or.

The only thing that disappointed me about last night was that I didn't get to see Lovren cry again. I will now have to wait until Sunday!
