    Real Madrid are about to kick off their final game of the season at home to Almeria with Ronaldo on 38 league goals (51 total) for the season, tied with the all time record.

    Can he go on to beat the record?

    Finished with 2 goals and 4 assists. That's 40 leagues in 34 games (32 starts) and I think 11 assists in the league, 53 goals in all competitions. According to Marca who give out the top scorer award he has 41 league goals, 54 in total.
