Got burgled a few times. Mostly stuff from the shed, bikes and chainsaws mostly.

Had a local pikey pull a gun out at me and some mates years ago. Turned out it was an air gun and the useless twat didn't know how to use it but still scared the **** out of us.

It was over 20 years ago so I would have been eleven when it happened. Although I'd probably still act the same now if someone pulled a gun on me again.

Agreed about car crime, parents car and dads work van used to get broken into all the time. ****ers loved stealing radios/tape players.

Harder to get away with it nowdays maybe? Old cars were easy as anything to steal so almost any toe rag could do it.

Yeah proper criminals are, the corrupt bankers etc.
Low level criminals are usually desperate so it's often less about intelligence in those cases.

Got burgled once. The wife's fault, daft mare left the keys in the front door, and this was the sort of area where you didn't leave anything lying around.

Worst thing was, I knew who did it, and I had to go and front them up or else be regularly terrorised by the wannabee yardie ****s forever. I knew I had no chance of ever seeing my stereo or my wife's jewellery again (unless some skank was wearing it), but I had to go and knock on the appropriate door to let em know I wasn't afraid (I was, I was terrified), or they'd have kept coming back.

Got burgled twice here. Some years ago now. Second time I almost caught the ****s, chased em up the street with a baseball bat. They jumped into a waiting car, so I lobbed the bat at em. Caught one a decent whack as he was scrambling into the car.

Had a phone nicked out my hand once. Pikey thieving bastards. Chased him for a bit stupidly and ran round this monument a couple of times comedy style before this other guy stepped in and took a swing which I dodged.

Knew it was game over at that point and we all just walked off

Tricky one that with few options, probably would have waited 6 months and wait for them to have an accident.

He got what was coming to him in the end; a few months after all this happened, the Old Bill kicked his door down and dragged him out the house in his Y fronts at 5.00am. No idea what that was all about, but him and his little crew went quiet after that.

A kid of about 10 tried mugging me, ****er had a stanley knife I lost my rag and went to punch the little ****er who then ran off. He ran home though (about 200 meters away) so I went to his house and threatened to smash his dad up. I then went home.

Got burgled a couple of times when I was a kid at my parents house.

Worse thing about these situations is family woryying for you. What I mean is on one occasion, we disturbed the burglar, was about to give chase, it had been snowing so there were footprints leading away from the house. But my mum preventing it by basically crying and pleading for me not to go

Hate having family with me when **** kicks off. I remember once some local kids running up to me and saying bloke had hit one of them. The bloke I knew from school and was about 21 and the kid he had hit was 12. In just walked up to the bloke and we got into a little fisticuffs.

But the ****er punched me first because I had my little bro (about 5) at the time and as I was about to punch this bloke I heard a scream and it was my little bro, who was basically ****ting it because what was about to go down. I looked back at him, turned to the bloke to see a fist land on my nose <laugh>
