Good to see we are keeping up with tradition of leaving world cup competitions at the first opportunity, defeated by Bangladesh and crashing out

Wouldn't of expected anythng else with an Irishman captaining the side, absolute disgrace, the selectors really need to start picking eleven home grown players, there are enough to choose from.

Maybe we could start with batsmen who know how to bat and bowlers who know how to bowl. Geoff Boycott as batting coach Bob Willis as bowling coach and Ian Botham as fighting spirit coach, as we don't appear to have much of the latter and know idea of the former two

I don't think the fact that Morgan is Irish has anything to do with it, but I agree with Geoffrey Boycott when he says Morgan isn't as good as he thinks he is. The England cricketing setup is too stubborn and doesn't move with the times, hence it's no surprise that they've been eliminated at the group stage.

Umm ! It's in the name "England" cricket team, Ireland now has it's own cricket team and Morgan should be playing for them, I dont see any logical reason why the selectors pick him and pick him to captain the side at that, it just doesn't make any sense to me.

They {The Selectors} want to hot foot it down to the Ageas Bowl a little more often and see what cracking young players Hampshire have to offer the set up, I am sure that the likes of Vince, Dawson and perhaps even Chris Wood could offer a lot more fight to the one day cause than some of the current crop.....and they're ENGLISH.
