Unfortunately we may never find out as rain has stopped play, and the forecast looks uncertain for the next couple of hours.
As the cricket World Cup starts in a couple of days, thought I'd better give this thread a bump back to the 1st page so we don't end up with duplicate threads for this like we did for both the rugby and Ryder Cup!!!!!!
Good idea Trammers. I've no idea how to, but can we get a poll on here of who we think might win? If not, possibly a prediction league type, bit of fun, on the result of each match. Hoping the world cup is a more enjoyable watch than QPR.
NZ win the toss and ask England to bat first in the World Cup opener. Three spin options and no Stokes for England - Harry Brook plays.
England need a period of consolidation 121/4 from 22 overs...... NZ keeping run rate in check by taking wickets....
Ravindra specialises in getting wickets with bad balls. Four long-hops in a row went 4,4,6,W. Brook should have hit the fourth one for 6, too.
**** me, for how long are the commentators going to ask Sachin about what equipment he used? ****ing hell!
166/4 after 30 overs...... These 2 need to stay for most of last 20 overs if England are going to get around the 300 - 320 mark....
37 added in last 5 overs for loss of skip...... Keep that rate for next 15 overs and will be in the 320 range.....
