Weather permitting, should be the highest innings total of the event so far.
    229/2 with 16 overs left <yikes>

Easy win today by 106 runs.
Buttler a worry for rest of tournament.
    Can't afford to loose him

This is ridiculous, have the bails been glued to the stumps?

That's 5 times in THIS World Cup that the ball has hit the stumps without removing the bails <doh>

I expect the ICC no longer accepts just any old wooden bails. Clearly the modern game demands intelligent bails. They create atmosphere and will not fall off if they judge doing so will reduce entertainment.

Apparently the flashing bails they use now require to be
seated deeper in the top of the stumps.
But when hit full on by an 85 mph Ben Stokes yorker, you'd expect something to give!!
Another reason why many pundits lament it's all heavily weighted towards bat rather
than ball these days whereas it used to be a fairer contest between the two <ok>
Having said that, some superb 'death' bowling by Bumrah and Bhunvaneshwar
    for India yesterday <applause>

    Thank goodness the Aussies lost!

They are already having adverts about 'smashing poms' for the ashes, they are so arrogant and just plain vile when it comes to sports and sportmanship. If they weren't so over the top I probably would follow them as a second team after England, but they treat sport as total war as win at all costs. It is this attitude which caused the sandpaper incident.

Anyway rant over, good win India!

Isn't that a little 'plastic', like having ManUre or Liverpoo as a 'second' team
while supporting NCFC or whoever? :emoticon-0112-wonde
I was delighted on Saturday that England totalled more than 300 runs in their innings
    for the seventh (7th) match in a row.....thereby beating Australia's long-held record of six <ok> <party>

Living here in the Philippines in a multi cultural enviroment, I have to say that the Aussies present are the least liked by all nationals. They are vociferously arrogant beyond belief, the most drunks after the Norwegians and the most clannish. Go into a bar, there will be a table where only Aussies sit, but another table complex will have up to six or seven different nationals enjoying each others company.

It annoyed me recently when Justin Langer said we shouldn't boo Warner and Smith but show them some respect!

Like the respect they showed to the game over sandpapergate!!!

    I don't think so!

I don't think so I live in Australia, so it's more supporting where you live as a 2nd team

Bahahahaha, that's okay. I usually want the minnows to do well (except against England). Keeping an eye out for Afghanistan after hearing so much about their team

Nice gesture if it happens, but I can usually get much more
reliable streams for cricket than for football.

It's being staged in England, ffs - so there's a depressingly familiar look to the leader board.

Has anyone seen Fran Wilson's catch in yesterday's Women's cricket match between England and West Indies?

    Absolutely stunning <yikes>
