Windies attack looked fantastic this morning a couple of big fast youngsters although Pakistan's middle order batted like a pub team. I suspect if Roy were facing those short balls you'd see a lot of them over the fence.

I'll be interested to see how England rotate their attack as Moeem had another poor day. It's been a while since I can recall him having a good one. I'd be inclined to give Curran the nod as he offers variety plus explosive batting.

Got to get your eye in quickly. We are very lucky that we have six batsmen in good nick and can bat right through to number eleven.

Short and quick seems to be the story so far, but we have batsmen who have a great eye so can punish that sort of bowling.

I’m feeling very positive about this!

Good for the whole team / squad to see Ben Stokes rediscover his mojo with
runs, wickets and a spectacular catch <ok> Very timely Benny boy!

Bangladesh win by 21 runs - bit of an upset that one.

Helped to a massive extent by the vibrant, colourful, passionate crowd who made it feel like
we were nearer Chittagong than Camberwell!!
Great to see Bangladeshis and South Africans sharing beers, banter and singing and dancing together. If anyone wants a snapshot of rival fans mingling and having exuberant fun at a sporting event, this is your prime candidate. <ok>
Looking forward immensely to Bangladesh vs New Zealand on Wednesday.

England sloppy in the field today. Batting needs to be top notch chasing 349 to win.

How often that happens. A batsman reaches 3 figures and loses concentration.

Root and Buttler both give their wickets away <doh>

Does anybody really expect England to win this competition? Today is so typical, a perfect illustration of the mental weakness that blights our national teams faced by the challenge of top level competition. Pakistan had lost their last 11 OD matches, so we win the toss and put them in to bat -- then bowl poorly and drop crucial catches. You don't show you don't underestimate the opposition by proclaiming it loudly beforehand; you show it -- or not -- by performing. I'm now waiting for the "Just the kick up the backside we needed" comments, equally easily said but proven or otherwise not by talk but by performance.

Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka a difficult tie to call today at Cardiff.
I'd be delighted to see the Afghans continue their development with a victory <ok>
