Warner hits Tongue for back-to-back boundaries
Josh Tongue seamer replaces Ollie Robinson.
The 25-year-old’s first three deliveries are a little wayward before Warner hits back-to-back boundaries.
Warner works one wide of the slips for four, before rocking back and pulling the next delivery to deep square leg.
That’s 10 runs off Tongue’s first over. Welcome, son.
Warner looks the goods as he makes his way to 38 from 55 balls, with just over 20 minutes remaining until the lunch interval.
England really need a wicket, considering they sent Australia into bat. Things not totally going their way this morning, with two dropped catches from Joe Root and Ollie Pope.

Khawaja cracks Anderson for a boundary
Khawaja gets in on the act with a boundary up the hill off the bowling of Jimmy Anderson.
It’s a glorious pull shot that is straight out of the Khawaja playbook. He’s one of the best exponents of the pull shot in world cricket.
Australia will be pleased with their start. If they can get to lunch without loss, they’ll be very pleased.
The visitors have played the ball late but swooped on anything loose, which is imperative on tricky surfaces.

That late wicket just about stopped that session being a complete disaster for England.
Winning the toss on a green top wicket in overcast conditions and we've looked pretty innocuous.

This is really poor from England Robinson has done nothing and is bowling at 78mph. Wasted a great chance today with these conditions and now these 2 are taking the game away from us
