Apparently he bowled in the nets today and is fine to play. How many overs they get out of him is debatable though, and my preference would be the young leggie. If its another road of a wicket then they'll stick with Ali I fear, but if there's any green in it I'd be tempted to play the 3 seamers plus Wood and have Root as a back up spin option. I don't see McCullum and Stokes changing the side at all apart from hopefully Wood though. It will depend on how our bowlers came out of the 1st Test, and if Anderson feels whether it's worth him playing on a dead deckG'day HB. Who do you think will be your spinner at Lord's?
I think Moeen's finger will keep him out for some lengthy period, perhaps the series.
He did try hard in the first test, but couldn't get past the injury, and the Aussie batsmen.![]()
