Trying to keep an eye on Murray and England at the same time...as usual end up missing best of both. The only good point is that everytime I turn over to watch Murray England take a wicket. Nice to see Panesar doing well again...2 wickets this morning.
I quite literally booked today off work at the last minute yesterday, so I've got the cricket on the TV (with 95% of my attention on it) and the tennis on the laptop.
Cricket by miles, tennis is ****ing boring. Murray is also one of my most disliked sports people always hope he loses
Neither. I use to be a massive cricket fan but there's too much of it these days. The only cricket I can enjoy is Test and I'd rather be there in person than watching it through the TV. Tennis is just dire but I will watch British male players as woman's tennis is not good.
Murray just pulled a set back. 1 Set all. Like all British tennis players, he's doing his best to lose, but has pulled it back. Think he's mainly disliked for one throw away remark that he said immediately was a joke. I can't watch sport if I can't take sides, so at least he gives me a reason to watch tennis.
I would say half and half. Love watching both. Bit biased towards tennis as I'm a line umpire and have been on with the top players. If anyone's not watching the tennis then do so..this match is becoming a classic
Djoko does look nackered but never write him off! That's just the way he is sometimes. He seems to be gaining control again slowly. Hard call at the moment.
If the Scots do get independence the one very good thing that will come out of it is we will not have to put up with all this media mania for Murray
Tennis for me, something is always happening; fast paced and exciting. Cricket I find dull, I can watch it if it's say, 40 runs from 45 balls, that's exciting, but I can't sit there and watch 5 bloody days of it...
Cricket all the way. I've never been a fan of tennis and Andy Murray does nothing to sway my opinion. He's one of those people who's British when it suits him and Scottish when it suits him. He has made no secret about being in the A.B.E camp when it comes to England playing in World Cup/Euro finals tournaments and then expects to be treated like royalty when he rolls up at Wimbledon.
