Immense victory. Why do we make it so bloody hard for ourselves though?

I avoided the result all day and watched the highlights on SkySports2, was completely dumbfounded after that batting display...

The bowling/fielding display is brilliant. Could write a textbook based on it. Broad & Swann in particular were immense!

Or Ireland they scored 328 and yet South Africa couldn't even chase 171. Gotta feeling its going to be Australia or Sri Lanka in the Quarters.

I find it very hard to understand how we can be current world 20/20 champions, beat the Aussies comfortably in the ashes test series and yet struggle so much at the format that falls somewhere between the two? And with mostly the same players!

Ravi mentioned that the pitch was poor/low scoring when they played there in the IPL and his team defended 125!!! So this maybe just a one-off.

You never know they always say don't play your best stuff too early, we may just hit that much needed form in the quarters!

In 99 the Aussie's were one game away from going out in the group stage, they ain't lost a World Cup game since.
