No surprise that we are struggling a bit against Pakistan.
They, along with the Aussies and Ireland, always raise their game against England.
Need a Root ton and a Buttler onslaught to win this one.
 
Just as the game swung 60/40 in our favour Root holes out. I think we'll struggle to get over the line now, especially as Moeen has lost his mojo with the bat recently. We need a performance from him even if it's just not getting out and letting Buttler get the runs.
 
Wouldn't put Kane in at all

Maybe a majority of 1...but really don't rate Kane or Alli.. sorry

I don’t think he’s ever claimed to be a good late order one day batsman Beth. Would you play Root at number 9 for England football?
