Haven't had a single word yet that wasn't magnanimous in defeat, and generally quite classy. Sadly, the town centre IS under threat, but the true footy fans have been pretty classy, if I do say so. Erm, 3-0.
Were there any Newcastle fans at the game? Couldn't hear them for the mighty Mackems. Be interesting to hear the views of the ones that did go to the game.
Just got back after a couple of pints drowning my sorrows, it pains me to say you showed so much more passion and belief today than our lads and your fans although quiet in the first half were sickeningly loud when you went 2 then 3 nil up. No excuses the touch line passion from PDC is sadly lacking from our manager and I only hope we can resume hostilities next season in the premier league
I was there, yes, I did hear your supporters singing, Made a swift exit home though, the pubs were rammed, there were queues of people waiting to get into pubs before KO, more like a Saturday night, than a Sunday lunch time, just hope everyone makes it home safely.
There's a few phone box babies gonna have upsetting news tonight, several wheelie bins are without their fathers, but I've not heard of any human casualties yet.
