Having heard PB's comments on the web site about the Stu Campbell affair, I have to say, if all he says is true, that I can understand his stance and where he is coming from. Only time will tell what will happen over the coming months, I just hope if he departs from the club it is done amicably. At least PB talks well and makes sense even if some of his footballing decisions/tactics leave a lot to be desirered. The jury will still be out with reference his man management capabilities etc, but at least he has put the record straight!

On the face of it the old saying there are two sides to every argument rings true.
HOWEVER this is the same man who says his remit is tenth place yet sat by the side of
Nick Higgs at the BRFCSC AGM just a few weeks ago and heard Higgs categorically state
that promotion was the Directors' expectation for THIS season.

i find it hard to believe anything that comes out of buckles mouth.

doesnt sound like there was any negotiating. contract offered which campbell wasnt impressed with so buckle tries to get rid instead of trying to negotiate. i bet whatever contract was offered buckle knew campbell wouldnt like it then buckle got an excuse to get rid.

    just my opinion though.

so what does cams do now?

he has already said he wont leave on loan. so will he stick to his word? or will he leave on loan to get match fit? after all he is 33 and needs to play games. will he stick it out and hope buckle gets sacked? will he keep his head down and give his all in training showing buckle he is still the shining example that buckle said he was only a few weeks ago? will he forgive buckle?

What Campbell was reported to have said in the paper was unprofessional, and the last thing we need right now is the sort of resentment Campbell seems to be showing in the dressing room. He's been a great servant to the club, but he needs to recognise that he's not the manager any more, there's no point in getting angry and he needs to go somewhere else to get his head straight.

I think both Buckle and Campbell need to go. Campbell has been a legend at this club, but his legs are gone. Buckle, well he can just **** off anyway.
