A hell of a lot of respect must go to JG after his excellent post race analysis of the KG. The guy showed a very clear and compassionate understanding of the emotions attached when you are horse racing trainer and avid enthusiast. If it wasn't for his simple explanation into the nature of horse riding accidents, this board and other boards would have no doubt been bombarded with the usual"Ban horse racing" threads. What a fantastic ambassador for the sport this man is.
Ditto and to go and help with the stricken Rewilding after his own horse had won shows even more credit
Here here. I think the situation was handled with great dignity, authority and respect. It was a credit to those concerned and to racing as a whole.
The man is an awesome trainer and has always been a perfect gentleman, win lose or draw he is always willing to speak to the media. Saturday however was above and beyond and i think he will have gained many more admirers from that extremely difficult interview. So sad for all connections of Rewilding
All credit to Gosden and to Buick too. Class acts bith of them. I think the BBC also deserves some rare credit as the way they handled the whole incident was excellent in my opinion.
