Same formation as last night, but with Green at the point of the diamond. Good to see Hollands is already fit enough for first team action and Smith knocking on the door of the first-team squad. Good pre-season for him so far.

    Hamer
    Solly Dervite Taylor Wiggins
    Wagstaff Hollands Cook
    Green
    Smith Haynes

    Leading at half-time 1 - 0 from a Danny Green direct free-kick.

Paul Hayes made an appearance last night and presumably Leon Clarke is on trial elsewhere but where is Andy Hughes? Is he injured?

    Halftime subs from:
Sullivan, Evina, Jackson, Cort, Morrison, Pritchard, Stephens, Kerkar, Kermorgant, Wilson, Wright-Phillips.

That is a complete team, probably better balanced than the starting XI.

I wonder if the Good Doctor already has his starting XI for Birmingham in his head, because if so he has me fooled.

What has Chris Powell done for us to finally score from freekicks. Before he was incharge I had only seen us score 1 direct free kick and that was Lloyd Sam. But since he's taken charge we seem to score near enough everyone. But who's complaining ;)

Danny green sounds like he is having a stormer. Still think he'll step up this season.

Green off after 10 minutes of the second half. So too Dervite and Smith. On come Jackson, Morrison, and Kermorgant.

Wilson for Solly. Evina for Wiggins, Stephens for Hollands.

Kerkar for Cook, BWP for Haynes, Pritchard for Wagstaff.

    Lots of rain.

    Finished 1 - 0.

From my point of view, he's instilled the confidence in players to try something different and to play to their true potential. They're having a go, and stuff is paying off.

    Just back,

First half tidy in possession, second towards the end it dwindled.

Cook looked lively again in first half.

Saw Wilson out there and he looked assured, although Pritchard ignored all his advice aha!

Maybe just me, but thought Smith was quiet,

Sullivan only on bench due to no reserve keeper. Sounds like the trial keeper has gone? And with Pope injured too Sully had step in. His loan move was imminent until Popes injury.

Green did look very good, sprayed the balls around. First Championship team out of 3 ( Millwall, Posh) to beat Crawley this summer. A good workout.
