Match moved to the Wednesday night

Bristol Rovers' FA Cup second round replay against Crawley Town will be shown live on BT Sport.

The game at the Broadfield Stadium will move to Wednesday, December 18th (kick off 7.45pm).

The FA live broadcast fee is £36,000 per club.

Tickets will be available to buy on the day and are priced at Adults £14 and Concessions £7. U18s can get in for £3 providing they are accompanied by an adult paying full price.

The Supporter's Club will be running coaches to the game priced at £17.50. They will leave from the Memorial Stadium at 2.45pm, and Kingswood at 3.15pm.

Rovers and Crawley drew 0-0 at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday, to take the game to a replay. The winner of the game will face Birmingham City away in round three.

Rovers will net £36,000 for being on TV. If we beat Crawley then Rovers will also get £27,000 for reaching round 3! = £63,000.

Hope we get a good pacey striker or winger or even both!

Even if you get the players for free, £63k = approx £600 a week surely even in your ****e league players get more than that?

not if we get them on a contract to the end of the season. from start of the transfer window to the end of the season is about 18 weeks. so 18 weeks spending £63,000 on wages for 1 player would be £3500 a week. good for our league and our league position! or even 2 players £1750 each per week.

    or

not if we get them on loan and only have to pay a certain percentage towards their wages!

    very doable.

    just saying ;)

of course we have to beat crawley. i am more optimistic in beating brum away in the 3rd round than beating crawley in the replay.
