The Craven Meeting takes place over the next couple of days at Newmarket. I did a competition on here for this last year and it proved popular so thought that I would run it again. I always think this is the week that really marks the start of the flat season (although Cheltenham do stage some good races tomorrow as well!) I am keeping the same rules as last year: 1 horse selected per race 1st place = 30 points 2nd place = 20 points 3rd place = 10 points you can select 1 NAP which will be worth double points. 16 races over 2 competitive days - Good luck everyone!

The Craven meeting really kicks out the classic season on the flat. It is a shame it is no longer on tv though. I did prefer the three days too, Tuesday to Thursday (still don't like that the Chester, York and other meetings have been moved from Tues-Thurs to Weds-Fri).
