    SKY SPORTS reporting

Peterborough United say they have accepted an offer from a Premier League club for Craig Mackail-Smith. We'll have more details shortly. No word on who, but Norwich and Everton have been linked with the striker.

Guess OLM was right when he didn't looked fussed when asked when he would be joining the mighty tigers.

I heard the Posh chairman on the radio the other day saying that CMS will be getting 30k a week from his new club.

Oh Well, I guess OLM's little tete-a-tete the other day didn't sway him.

£30k per week for an ex league 1 striker? Utter madness. They could pay him £10-£15k and it would still be much more wedge for him!

Must be a clause filled deal, £30kpw is rediculous for the star of league one. Especially since the 'star of league 1' last year was mclean

If true, 30k a week for a Lg1 footballer with a poor first touch but chases lost causes for fun just shows what the PL is all about - and you wonder why even with a so called £90m windfall, clubs are still in debt.

Lets hope if and when we next get back to the promised land, we don't fall in the trap again of throwing money away like its going out of fashion.
