No idea whether he's good enough for the Prem, but I could perhaps see a part-exchange deal with Peterborough involving Cody...

QPR bid of that just got rejected for Danny Graham, don't think we can afford Graham, that's for sure, maybe CMS worth a look, depends if the Posh get promoted I dare say!

the bid for graham is being reported as £2.5m - that's within our budget surely.

however, i think there may be a bidding war coming up

Fulham fan (with a Canary bro-in-law) in peace,

When we played Peterborough in the FA Cup I was interested to see what CM-S was like. He didn't strike me as particularly impressive. On the limited basis of that one game, I wouldn't be confident that he's ready for the Premier League. If you weren't going up and were looking for someone at Championship level, he'd be worth a punt. I think you will need someone better in the Premier League. Of course, all this is based on a single game, so it's very possible that I'm talking rubbish and he could be your next Dean Ashton (always rated him when he was with you).

I'm interested to see how you get on next season. I rate Lambert very highly, and with my family connections I'd love to see you do well. Just so long as you don't beat us, enabling Mrs Captain's family to gain the upper hand in banter at Christmas and other family get togethers!

It is a shame we did not get a few months ago, could at least seen exactly how he would fit in to our team.

I get a feeling, if he can get the right service, he can scores goals anywhere.

two seasons ago when we signed holt everyone said he would be useless in the championship. now he is going to be terrorising premier defences. who's to say that cms will not adjust to the higher expectations in the same way. as was said about ashton, several clubs thought about him but were not prepared to take a chance. we did and the result was superb.

  10. I heard that Cody McDonald may be off to Carlisle.....assuming that they get their 15% sell on fee should Graham move to QPR. Not exactly a reliable source but hey, whatever.

Not wishing to gate crash here, but I don't think Peterborough would let Mackail-Smith go for £3m. From what I've seen of him he's a very useful player and I'd imagine there's plenty of teams been alerted to him by now.
