Does anyone know when Gordon will be fit again for 1st Team Action because we miss him IMO.

I like Mignolet for a prospect, but not number 1 for me.

I think he should of saved Ramsey's effort, from that distance and angle he should be diving to save them. Also the cross from Arshavin was easy to claim.

With Gordon we have an immense shot stopper, immense 1 on 1 stopper, and he will get better with crosses.

So does anyone know when he will be back? Last time I saw he played against Arsenal reserves.

I hope Gordon gets a new contract & starts playing again he is our best keeper IMO.

I wouldnt be suprised to see him in goal against Arsenal next week.

I've been wondering when he'll be back; he was playing reserve games not so long ago I'm sure he'll be back soon and I can't wait.

    he clearly wants to stay..

As much as he would like his contract issue to be sorted out, Gordon admits he can see his manager’s point of view and knows it is up to him to get back to full fitness and prove to O’Neill he is worthy of a new deal. He said: “I have had a chat with Martin over mapping things out but he would not put down any time-frame and he left things very much up to myself.

“I know how I am feeling and how ready I am to play games, so he has left it entirely with me and we will take it from there.

“I am not looking beyond the end of this season.

“There is no long-term future beyond the next six months.

“It is just a matter of getting myself fit and seeing what happens from there.

“However, I would love to stay at Sunderland on a long-term basis.”

Westwood is the best of the 3 for me. Mig is a good prospect, Gordon a superb shot stopper but dodgy at crosses (note Stoke away last season).

Thing is - I think we miss Westwood - he's number one for me - Mignolet isn't good enough ATM - NEVER comes off his line for the easy ball seems rooted!!

I'd be playing Westwood first - also when you watch him at half time with the other subs he enjoys himself - it's great to see a player doing that even though he's not first choice!!

As I've said before I don't think we will see Gordon play again in a Sunderland shirt. It will be interesting to see who takes him on? Can't see a big club taking him as first choice. For me we wasted 9 mil on this player. Think he is a good keeper but only good!

Alll about opinions tony - I think he was a fantastic keeper ewhen fully fit - one of the best in the league - but has missed almost as much as Fraizer Campbell!! I'm definitely one of his fans but there you go - shows how different 2 supporters from the same club can see things

If he's free he could end up at an Arsenal/Spurs/Liverpool. Depends what his ambitions are

Westwood is number 1 for me too, a quality keeper although Migg has done really well and is very decent back up to push Westwood.

I just don't see a place for Gordon any more unless we get a spate of injuries and he does brilliantly when he returns

A was blotto all saturday night & sunday so if its been posted apologies.
Mig should kick for 8 hours every effing training day this week and learn how to hit the middle of the park OR alternatively a SAFC player would be nice. His distribution is absolutely w*nk.
Westwood or Gordon for cup match for me.

Looked to me that he was trying to 'hit' McLean on the left - our tallest 'forward' ..

Used to happen to Tony Norman a lot, trying to hit into the left 'tram lines'
