Would be even better if we could get him on a pay as you play. <ok>

He won't pay as you play, but he's a quality keeper. I've followed him since hearts, he's outstanding when on form and still fairly young. If he passes a fitness test sign him up

Absolutely worth a punt. He looked a top keeper for Sunderland when they got him - while we were sticking with Almunia <doh>

Perfect. Some time ago he was one of the possible candidates to replace Almunia. The only question if he wants the Arsenal 2nd choice place. If yes Wenger has to grab him asap.

He has always been a good reaction stopper even in his hearts days he would be worth a look indeed

Would be a great number 2, could play in the Cup games.

    I would go for him.

Worth a punt, but a backup keeper's always got to be fit, so you'd probably have to get someone else in as well in case.

Good keeper, but more injury prone than Diaby. I think we're going to have to hire more medical staff if we sign him.

Our injury list has got to make the club appealing to him! Think of all those people he'll have to chat to whilst on his sick bed!

I think he'd be a great acquisition if fit. There's a reason why Sunderland released him though.

i think we just built one at the start of the season...

he'd be a good signing, but agree with all about the fitness levels. that being said, its hard to get injured if your not playing...

He'd be a decent backup indeed.
