Forward has signed on loan till Jan. Positive news after a tough week. Welcome aboard Craig. Cant play monday though. Bit of experience....well done PT
Strange one, Bayo has hardly been given a chance and ***an who has hardly played in the last 3 years has come in. I hope this doesn't mean Cody and Bayo's chances get reduced. I mean did we give him a trial prior signing him up? Let's see what happens I guess.
This could be a good signing,if he does well we can extend the contract,or if he does bad we can let him go.He has Premiership experience and didn`t do bad under Taylor last time at Bradford.
Craig ***an a forward? Not according to his soccerbase stats. Has him down as a midfielder, and with just 47 goals in 230 apps (+50 subs) I hope he's a midfielder. Maybe he's that attacking midfielder we've all been craving. Anyway, welcome aboard Craig. Hope it all goes well. Also just seen he's twice been sold for 750k so he can't be too bad (mind you, that was 5 years ago)
Think we may use him as a wide man...Try and get in behind these defences rather than through them. Dont think Bayo will go more likely to be German out on loan i would think
Only just had chance to look this player up. Made about 132 appearances for Hull City. Who also happen to have probably the biggest membership on this site. So might be worth asking their lads about him on there. Oh well thought i'd give it a go....http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/237238-Craig-***an - I'll either get abuse or genuine replies...lol
He finished last season (from January onward) at bury, if this works it shows last seasons form for them with no discernable improvement. http://www.statto.com/football/img/progress/ACDAOEAJ9k Could be nothing more than Bury being especially bad and one player not able to make the difference, just saying don't expect too much from him and start booing before he's given a chance.
There is a positive side to your illustration Grumpy. When he joined they were 22nd and they never fell below 24th thereafter.
Hi fellas, don't expect him to score goals, he's more of a winger who gets into players faces. On the pitch he's got a right attitude, he really pisses the opposition off, he's niggling all the time. How are you finding Taylor? Happy, unhappy with him?
I lived up in South Humberside during the Peter Taylor days at Hull and had the fortune of going to a hell of a lot of their games from 2003-2008; ***an isn't a goal machine, but he was Hull's best creator. Taylor played him out wide in a 4-3-3 and he relished that role, setting up a lot of goals. I like the move. We are lacking creativity. He could well provide it.
Doesn't really matter how our fans are 'finding him' tiger. Gills fans make up their minds first to either love or (mostly) loathe him before he even set foot back here. It's the same with players. They are either dross or gods before they've even kicked a ball for us and it rarely changes during their time here. Sad but true.
Good enough for David Moyes the Manchester United manager. You can't say he doesn't know what he's doing... http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/everton-sign-deal-to-scout-for-worlds-997789
