A veritable multitude of top scorers in the A-League yesterday, fourteen in all, all with 32 pts, were, goldeneadie, General Melchett, RiverEndRick, ncgandy, DHCanary, dan2002dp, Tomatoehead, stilljaroldcanary, Resurgam, Canaryvet, Canary Rob, JediCanary, FleetCanary and me. Speaking for myself, and I can´t think I´m entirely alone, I would gladly have foregone the honour, if a couple of unexpected appearances in the starting eleven had produced a different result. In the B-League, joint top scorers with 7 pts, goldeneadie and canarie-chippy, so congrats all round. rbf
Haven't been online much the past few days and can't believe I missed last night's predictions - especially with the first XI being as predictable as it has been all season. I'm disappointed with myself
It's small wonder M'brough saw us coming and mugged us. Was that the highest scoring predictors week ever? Bah!
It´s certainly, by a long way, the highest number of equal top scorers for any one game, but it´s not the highest score for any one week, that was 40 pts, in the Cardiff game ( FleetCanary).
As a back-up rule, perhaps for next season as this one it might be unfair on some, maybe you could think about assuming that where someone hasn't predicted for a match, as long as they have predicted on the last one, that they have gone for the same stats (that at least gives them a chance to pick up a few points if they have gone on holiday or are too busy)? Obviously if someone is persistently not predicting then they can drop off the tables like you have done so far, but for the odd week off... Just a thought!
Dear Rob, You apparently haven´t been following http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/271249-Canary-Prediction-League where, at the beginning of the paragraph entitled Odds, as you will see, plans have been in place all season for such occasions. Yours rbf
