Prediction League CPL - Final Tables And Awards Ceremony

Firstly, a heartfelt thank you to you all for accompanying me this year. It doesn´t really matter how much one puts into the running of something like this, it´s ultímately those who contribute, who make it what it is. I set the parametres, but it´s you lot who make it all worthwhile, by turning up each week, so for that, I´m very grateful.

Right, now down to business.

Many congrats to RiverEndRick and canarie-chippy who managed to repel all boarders, and finish the season as A and B-League champions. Fully deserved, as Rick hasn´t been headed at any time, and once chippy got into his stride, he hasn´t been headed either. Runners-up were respectively, Tomatoehead and dan2002dp while in the Combined Table it was RiverEndRick again who was champion, with dan2002dp filling the runners-up spot. Top scorers from yesterday were, in the A-League DHCanary with a very good 45 pts, and in the B-League, KillerCanaryKris, with 12 pts. Predictors of the Month for May, were, in the A-League, DHCanary and in the B-League, oldcanariesfan, both just outscoring their opponents through the month. The tables as you see them below are with the final promotion and relegation included.

Another couple of interesting stats from the season which there wasn´t room for above

Average ´shots on´(H and A), corners (H and A) and match possession under Neil Adams -
7.2, 3.1 - 8.5, 4.8 - 44.5%

Average ´shots on`(H and A), corners (H and A) and match possession under Alex Neil -
5.5, 4.7 - 7.1, 4.8 - 57.5 %



certainly had plenty of shots on, at least at H, with Adams, but for me, the match possession is very telling, since Neil arrived.

 

That goes for me as well, rbf. Thanks for all you have done on this and that all goes well in the future. I'm sure we all hope you come back when you are able to.

The stats are very interesting, and certainly tell a tale.
