I tried this a couple of years ago on the old 606 and it was a bit of a mess (mainly due to the fact that Norwich went out instantly) but I'm hoping that this time it will work out a little better. The winner of the CPL Cup shall receive this, a whole rep. point and a place in the CPL Hall of Fame. And here's how it works. There are 32 competitors. That's everyone in the CPL Premier, plus 12 of the predictors in CPL Division One. I have removed from the draw the four people who have predicted least regularly in recent weeks (for your convenience, that's I_Clean_holtys_boots, Cruyff's Turn, surgeryman and carrowcanario - sorry guys but that's the only way I could make this work. I'm hoping you'll never read this and find out though! If any of you would like to enter then let me know and I'll see what I can do.) Scoring is the same as always, so that's: 1 point just for predicting. 3 points for correct result (e.g. Norwich win). 5 points for correct scoreline (e.g. 2-1 Norwich). 3 points for correct first scorer, 1 point if selected player scores at any point. 2 points for correct attendance (+/- 100). This is essential, as any ties will be decided by whoever guesses nearest the real attendance. 5 points if attendance is spot on. And 5 points for getting it all right. Now, unlike in the CPL, in the CPL Cup you will be drawn against someone else. All you have to do to progress is beat that person's score.
