Hello! This is the thread for the finals of the CPL Cup and Mug. In both competitions, you will be predicting on Wigan Athletic vs. Manchester City, to be played on Saturday, May 11th at the New Wembley Stadium, K.O. 5.15pm. Scoring is as follows: 1 point just for predicting. 3 points for correct result (e.g. Manchester City win). An extra 5 points for correct score-line (e.g 2-1 Manchester City). 3 points for correct first scorer, 1 point if selected player scores at any point. 2 points for correct attendance (+/- 1,000), 5 points if spot on. And 5 points for getting it all right. You cannot predict the same score-line or attendance as your opponent. All ties will be settled by attendance predictions. Sorry Hucks I have been in hospital for the past week with limited Internet access and couldn't post my prediction
My apologies as well Hucks, as I completely forgot about this in all the anxiety about surviving in the PL. Perhaps you should award both the Cup and Mug to either Maestro or OCF!
