    Hello!

This is the CPL Cup and Mug thread for the F.A Cup Fifth Round ties.

Firstly, I'm going to quickly clarify the rules for the CPL Cup and Mug from this point onwards. If you're easily confused skip the next three paragraphs.

The Quarter-Finals shall be played just like the first two rounds - a one off prediction from each competitor, with the player drawn at home getting a one point advantage. if you went out of the CPL Cup in the last round, or any round from now on, you are out altogether, not in the CPL Mug - that's only for those who went out in the first round of the Cup. The two competitions will have different games to predict on.

The Semi-Finals will be two-legged, and so the one point home advantage no longer applies. Each player will predict for an F.A Cup Sixth Round game and an F.A Cup Semi-Final. He/she who has the most points in a tie over the two predictions will go through to the final. The CPL Cup and Mug will each have different games to predict on.

The Final will again be one-legged, but there will be no point home advantage. You'll be predicting on the Final of the F.A Cup and he/she who gets the most points wins.

Competitors still in the CPL Cup will predict on Luton Town vs. Millwall, to be played on Saturday, February 16th 2013 at Kenilworth Road, K.O 12.45pm.

Competitors still in the CPL Mug will predict on Oldham vs. Everton, to be played on Saturday, February 16th 2013 at Boundary Park, K.O 6pm.

All predictions must be in by 12pm on Saturday.

    Scoring is as follows:

    1 point just for predicting.

3 points for correct result (e.g. Luton win)

5 points for correct scoreline (e.g 2-1 Luton)

3 points for correct scorer. The scorer can come from either team, depending on which match you are predicting on. 1 point if selected player scores at any point.

2 points for correct attendance (+/- 100). 5 points if spot on.

If predicting second you must ensure your scoreline and attendance predictions are different to your opponent's. All ties will be settled by attendance.

All players drawn at home (those shown first) get a one point advantage.

Sorry to everyone who isn't involved, but I feel obliged to push this up the page as we're still missing several predictions!

Just got lucky with a stab in the dark, Bravo. Promise not to be a 'smug bastard' though! <yikes> How are things in Wake Forest? Basketball country isn't it?

Wake Forest is just fine. Yes we have a lot of Basketball here, but I'm no fan. I prefer the ice hockey (Carolina Hurricanes) and we also will shortly start our soccer (hate the term) season with The Railhawks. Best wishes for the next round of the cup.
