At this point last season we were all either fuming at or struggling to understand the departure of Jenkinson to the Woolwich Diaspora. At the end we got a good fee for him from AW who doesn't spend money like other managers. So who got the better end of the deal. We ended up with some money and the superb talents of Chris (he's better than John Terry) Solly playing at right back. The Diaspora got "Corporal" Jenkinson to shore up their appalling defence? Did Chris P pull th ewool over the eyes of Arsene W?

My season ticket holding arsenal mates aren't impressed with Jenkinson at all. They say he has a horrible habit of running with his head down and the ball then getting stuck in his feet.

Also he doesn't have the pace for the highest level.

Not as much as DiCanio did to CP with Clarke.

I must say, I never really got it with Jenks. OK at League 1 level but I just can't see him cutting it in the Prem, especially at Arsenal. We got the better of that deal, that's for sure.

Jenkinson got chucked in at the deep end before he was ready due to an injury crisis at Arsenal. Solly on the other hand was more than ready to take the chance he'd waited ages for while watching Parky play a string of rubbish loanees ahead of him while the only games he got were out of position. He showed a great attitude through all this and that's why he'll be my POTY.

I'd say the 2 most improved players are Solly and Wiggins, which is hardly coincidence when you look at who is our manager.

Completely agree. Think there is also a case for Hamer who has had a good couple of months.
