    This was in today's Mail:

    Rangers on alert
It has not gone unnoticed at Queens Park Rangers, who are desperate for relegation rivals Bolton to face the strongest possible Stoke City side on Sunday, that both opposing managers — Owen Coyle and Tony Pullis — are represented by the same football agent, Dave Sheron, who works for SEM.

'Sheron', where have I heard that name before?...<doh>

    Sheron? Nooooooo!!!!!

Seriously, I can't see this being an issue. Every manager's position is tenuous so why would you take even a small risk for the benefit of your agent's other interests. It also sounds like Pullis isn't too popular so I'd have thought the stats of finishing high up the table each year will statistically help him (think how Stoke fans would feel if they finished 16th every year).

If Stoke field a weaker side against Bolton than they put out against us that would be a disgrace. I don't expect it to happen.

If Bolton are relegated, and Coyle leaves, isn't this better for his agent, who (if player's agents are anything to go by) only gets paid when he places his people in another job?

This may eb a blessing in disguise - although I still reckon it has nothing to do with Sunday whatsoever.

Stoke have a couple of million quid to play for. They won't just be putting the kids out and Pulis and Coyle's agent has nothing to do with anything. If we go down it will be the fault of QPR and Bob Pollock.

Welcome to paranoia central. Sparky and Tevez share an agent, who is mates with TF, do you think it will make a blind bit of difference on Sunday?

This is doing my head in so i have got a Plan B for sunday night.
I have had £50 on QPR to get relagated at 9-4.
If the Domesday scenario happens i will pick up the blood money from Ladbrokes, buy a lump of bob hope, a bottle of Lagavulin and phone up a Russian call girl for three falls and a knockout.
That will get me through the night and i will deal with the psychological implications of relegation with my trickcyclist on monday morning.

Could you provide a breakdown on the costs? Seems like a decent night on your return from those odds....

Well, with £125 plus your stake, you're probably looking at fifty notes for the wackybaccy, thirty-five for the Lagavulin, then (these days) eighty quid for the phone call. The russian 'babe' will probably not even bother to shave her 'tache, but she may take her dentures out for a tenner....

Mock ye not i have already costed it.

A pony for weed and 30 the malt.
My 50 stake is topped up with a 50 free bet by joining their online gamblers racket.
    So 100 makes 225 profit
Leaving 170 for the Russki totty.
I could probably afford a brace of them with that budget, especially if they give me a deal for 5 minutes.

But i would rather lose the 50 quid.

Although i have had insurance punts on a draw and a Stoke win and a lady godiva on Crouchie scoring the first goal.

So its either an Ana Kournikova lookalike or Peter Crouch.
