Well, having avoided it for 3 yrs, I am more vulnerable at 75 yrs, rare lung & liver condition, plus all the sh..t thru my body with cancer treatment, I caught the b....ger on way back from Lisbon! Lordy, it is a beast! I am sure some you have had it and come out smiling. No taste, chills, fever, aches, cough, brain fog(Thats without the mixed messaging from Spanish!) Rest, eat healthy, meds, hot soups, I am told, no alcohol, not a problem, but I will rely on the passion and excitement of you guys posting about our wonderful Club. Bring on the next game, tis Friday against Rotheram. Should be a win, but these lowly clubs can pull yer pants down! 2-0 away win the Town.
I am sure Spanish is on his way to your bedside to mop your fevered brow Gaffer Hope you get over it quickly Gaffer.
Speedy recovery my old 606 friend!! Hopefully you will be up and dancing in your living room (when town score) again soon!! No taste you say....reminds me of Redruth and Nuggets!!
Sorry to hear this gaffer, I had it before vaccination and was horrible, took quite a while to feel 100% although hopefully you now have the benefit of a rampant town victory to aid your recovery...I was at the time just pleased I didn't have to watch town (it was that depressing )
Thanks PTC, sorry to hear that. I find all fam & friends shared experience, tips, recommendations, invaluable. NHS advising me to risk assess my condition, do I need the Antiviral treatment, can I get it, endless hoops and obstacles! Tho very poorly, there are others with priorities I am sure. Following Town will indeed lift my spirits, how long can we keep this up!
'How long can we keep this up' Oh don't say that gaffer, you know better, you will have Redruth and Nuggets on here telling you they can keep it up all day!!
I try to keep our great variety of posts clean and humorous in these difficult times for our country, but euphoric times to be a Town fan. Lets enjoy it all.
