Can someone explain what that would mean for the Cody situation immediately please? I know it means he maybe available in the summer if they are still in admin but can we now get home back on loan?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21888821 It's not the club that's gone into administration, but a 'non operating subsidiary'. But they are facing an administration order (effectively a third party application to put the club into administration over an unpaid debt) in the High Court tomorrow. The possible consequences of administration are many, and it's futile at this stage to speculate on what might happen to players' contracts. We can only hope (or some of us at least...) that IF the club goes into administration and IF the administrators decide to cut the numbers of playing staff, that we might end up with Cody playing for us next season. If they do go into administration they'll be deducted 10 points, but even that shouldn't affect their survival in L1 providing they continue picking up points the way they have in the season so far.
Its not yet the whole of the club that is in administration yet.... They have to go to the high court tomorrow where the club could be, as they owe 1.3 mil in unpaid rent going back a year. Normally when a club goes into admin' the administrators try to cut costs immediately, by making people redundant and then flogging off players ,so in a worse case scenario for them, they would have to get shot of some players. The thing is, the window shuts next week ,so they would probably be able to hang onto the players until the summer http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/ccfc-statement-200313-728300.aspx
