It's tomorrow folks!! And that's pretty soon :)

Who would you play? For me, Mannone needs to start, but there's options. I hope Koscielny has recovered from his heroics in time to start too. I think a VERY changed team, but I'd like to see Giroud play to get a goal and get his confidence up.

    My team would be:

    Mannone
    Yennaris Djourou Koscielny Santos
    Frimpong
    Ramsey Coquelin
    Theo Giroud Arshavin

That's effectively a second-string Team. Theo & Giroud didn't play much at the weekend, my only concern would be Ramsey who played the full 90.
I think that team should have enough quality to get a result out of Coventry, but a few big-hitters should be kept on the bench just in case.

I think it's a bit much to ask Kos to start, although him and Djourou are a pretty good pairing. I think it's a bit early for Frimpong yet, maybe have him on the bench and give him some time in the second half.

I'd definitely rest Ramsey though. I'd start Oxo in there instead.

I'd be surprised if Frimpong starts this quickly. I know it's more of a reserve game (with all due respect to the cup and Coventry) but it might be a bit too soon?

I actually thought Theo might play through the middle for once but again, playing Giroud would make more sense. He needs to score a couple to get his confidence up. If not Theo, then Oxo on the wing and then bring on Theo for Giroud as a CF later on. It's probably unlikely to happen but if there was a game to finally trial him as a CF, this would be it.

Other than that, I think your selection is spot on. And to think, we still have Wilshere, Sagna and Rosicky to come back.

And they tried to say on MOTD last night that we don't have any depth. <laugh>

    Is:

    Mannone
    Yennaris Djourou Miguel Santos
    Coquelin
    Ox Arshavin
    Theo Giroud Gnabry

More likely? Means dipping into the reserves only for Gnabry, and a bench that can contain: Martinez, Merts, Kos, Gibbs, Jenks, Arteta, Cazorla, Diaby, Frimpong, Pod, Gerv

I thought this game was on wednesday. Perfect opportunity to give Theo and Arshavin 90 minutes and for Giroud to have a good game.

Bit too weak maybe? We don't want to risk going out in the first round

Coventry are in SHOCKING form. They are currently second bottom in League one. I fully expect the likes of Walcott,Arshavin,Ramsey,AOC and others to rip them to shreds.

Arshavin, Walcott and Santos should be given some game time.

I'd also like to see Miquel, Gnabry and maybe a couple of other youngsters get a game.

Keep Giroud in the team and hopefuly he'll grab a goal or two.

He's at Wigan and for some reason not getting game time despite Moses going and him clearly being good enough - looks like a poor loan move at the moment.

I think you'll beat Coventry 6-0 tbh which bodes well for your confidence unfortunately for us when we play you on Saturday!

He was tearing it up for Bolton last season, creating more chances while on the pitch than any other player in the team. Tbh i'm very suprised he isn't getting game time at Wigan and if he doesn't start to get game time soon i wouldn't send any more players there. There are definatly teams in the prem where Ryo could already make a big impact so think we maybe got this loan move wrong.

I was thinking that it will be a rest for a few people as well.

    I think it will be:

    Martinez
    Yennaris-Koscielney-Djourou-Santos
    Ramsey-Coquelin-Ox
    Walcott-Giroud-Gnabry

Touch and go whether to start kos, i think the defender that starts with djourou tomorrow shouldn't start on saturday, and to be honest i think it will be koscielney. Not through choice but just because mertesacker has played every game thus far and i think he will start on saturday with vermaelen. Also don't know if wenger will start with arshavin or not, i wouldn't be surprised if oxo gets a game. Hopefully there are a few surprise youth players thrown in, looking forward to seeing yennaris and coquelin aswel.
