Coventry City youth pair Nathan Cameron and Danny Ireland have both signed new deals at the club. Defender Cameron, aged 19, has signed a new deal until June 2013. He has represented England at Under-20 level and made 22 starts for the Sky Blues last season. Ireland, aged 22, has signed a one-year deal until June 2012. The Australian goalkeeper also made his senior debut last season. Manager Andy Thorn told the Coventry website: "We are developing a strong base of homegrown talent here." He added: "Nathan was one of the surprises of last season. "Very few people expected him to start the first game, but he took the opportunity with both hands and became a vital member of the squad. "We are delighted that Danny has signed. This is a big season for him and we want to see him challenging for a first-team place."
