Sir Prancealot could not have been more impressive in his last outing, Richard Hughes had to take a pull on him a few times in his troubled passage through the field and the horse was able to quicken again when asked, which really impressed me. He's unlikely to get those traffic problems tommorow on a wide track like Ascot, and I think he can leave his rivals for dead with the gears he has.* The ground was a concern to me at first, but having looked into things further I actually think he could well improve on softer ground. His sire Tamayuz was a class act over a mile, and he never won a race on anything better than good, winning a G3 on heavy and a G1 on good to soft.* I feel 6f will prove to sharp for Dawn Approach at this level, and I expect he will be seen to better effect over a mile later in the year.* Obviously there are others in the race with big reputations, Cristoforo Colombo looked decent on debut, but it was only a maiden, and I feel his price in the Market is far to short, and based on stable reputation more than anything. Also his sire Henrythenavigator hated soft ground.* Verdict: Sir Prancealot to win easy Race card
You too mate, im struggling for selections tommorow. I'm only going to have 1 or 2 bets. Im considering backing Power, as the competition looks poor, though I am worried about the ground with him. *
