    Coventry, Millwall and Middlesbrough

Just wondering what others thoughts are on games coming up

Coventry Away – Rock bottom with 2 wins only so far this season (one win in last 14 and in a 9 game losing run). This should be all 3 points for us.

Millwall at KC – 19th with 3 wins in the last 8. I fancy another win here if we keep up the form

Middlesbrough Away (Boxing Day) – 4th with only 2 losses in the last 7. Maybe a draw or a loss, as Xmas results are often not logical.

If we can get 6 points from these three games it would be great

Yeh I know, with the streak of form just now it's tempting to push the prediction, but in the past we get bitten when we get cocky!

Given our record against struggling sides, I reckon we'll draw on Saturday, get beat by Millwall and then draw at Boro. I'm going for 2 points from 9. And then sod all from bloody Burnley.

    Come on City, shock me!

Like you I would take 6 points today, and be very happy with that.

Agreed complacency is a massive factor in which can lead to shocking and humiliating defeats. I hope City turn up for the Millwall and Coventry matches in the right frame of mind.

Similarly if we beat Coventry, i hope everyone won't get on the back of the players v Millwall if we aren't beating them convincingly or performing as well as we have been recently.

I think 6 points will be a good return. Been away at Coventry imo will be easier as there isn't the expectancy of our own fans there. I'm sure the players will remember the defeats to Millwall last season and will want to get one over on them. Boro the toughest game but they seem to be drawing lots of games, a result I wouldn't be suprised to see when we go there. As long as we avoid complacency and keep working hard I think we can take points dfrom these games, then we have ****ing Burnley to end the year, I would love it, love it if we beat them!

Just as long as Hull City give Coventry respect ( am sure they will) then this will be a win for sure. Just a case of how many.

Millwall the same but will be a harder game as they will shut up shop and frustrate City, so a 1-0 win will do.

I actually think that Middlesboro away will be the easiest game of the 3. Boro will come out to play on the big pitch and that will suit Barmbys babies down to the ground. Backed by thousands of Tigers fans (even people who dont normally go to away games) desperate to escape the xmas inlaws and grab some fresh air..lol. I see this as a WIN.

Then to Burnley. If any motivation is needed for this game then Barmby should play the last 15 mins over and over to the squad between 1pm and 2pm on the coach video.

So i am going for an optimistic 9 points from the next 3 games and the Burnley game is in the Lap of the Gods.

No, I've just learnt to expect the worst and hope for the best where City are concerned. No-one who was at Barnsley, Donny, Bristol or Leeds or at home to Palace, Blackpool and Burnley can be confident about anything.

Wasn't meant to be a slaughtering at all mate. You're not the only one with that view and if you were, it wouldn't annoy me.

Given our track record of slipping up , i`d take 1-0`s against both Coventry and Millwall, as for the Boro game, i think we could well turn them over, its the type of game we usually turn up the heat on.

if you include burnley, 3 out of the next 4 away...i think 8 points from that would be a great return.

As long as the team try as hard as they can I will be pleased what ever the result......it's impossible to be sure of anything in the championship, much to the delight of my local bookies...
