Sad scenes at Coventry, feel for their fans, great stadium, great fan base but Sh-t owners, thank god for Steve Lansdown
I've always thought the same, till the silly bu**er employed Junior. And compounded it by extending his contract.
Will never understand why he did that to be honest and I must confess I have been sceptical of some of his moves in the past, but the extension takes the top prize.
Usually Managers get contract extensions by achieving something significant. Personally I'd always hoped that SC would/could have turned things around but we're heading in an ever downward spiral again now. So for me it's now time for LJ to prove he has what it takes to be worthy of being manager of Bristol City FC. Between now and the end of January is a critical time.
Very sad for a once proud and great club who were always in the 1st Division when I was a kid. Unfortunately right now, they are heading for the oblivion of L2 as things stand. Their 19 year old up front looks like he might be a right handful with a bit of coaching.
'Between now and the end of January is a critical time' We'll probably have another 'bounce' with new players. A bit like we did August/September, then reality (Junior) will strike again.
Crap stadium and too big which they did not own. Bet they wish they had never moved from Highfield road.
I used to work with a Sky Blue fan - he told me that (amazingly) Coventry had not had a top half finish in any League they played in for 20 years!!! Imagine that - never having a "winning season" SISU who own Coventry are running the club into the ground - IMO they would be in the Top 3 worst owners in UK football (Blackpool, Blackburn, Charlton other candidates)
Sometimes you need to be careful what you wish for because it can come back and bite you in the arse.
