Couldnt have picked it better for the first match. Balmy trips to Brighton in Feb and Blackpool in March. Get the sun tan lotion ready
I actually think that's one of the most difficult opening days we could have had. They are going to be massively up for it and we will still be trying to gel with an influx of new players. We never seem to win there either (god knows why). Bit disappointed we start with 2 away games that I can't go to but oh well. Forest away eaarly is exciting, plus we'll probably lose as usual so it will be better to do it when our season isn't terminal if we do. A long wait for the home game though... We better hope that we are good this season because West Ham and Leeds the last 2 games is going to be diificult.
cov's failed relegation fight starts here.................Im comtemplating not going there for the first time in years...how they moaned and boycotted the walkers last season....over having to payi good money to see a class side...peasants.... I object to giving them ANY of my money.....anyway the ricoh has no atmosphere....there is an air of a decomposing corpse about the place.... have a close look at the finishes on the stadium its cheap and second rate ...really.... shabby close up............Its time we finally showed them reality by thrashing the chavs..... and shut these penny pinching losers up, once and for all.............
A cracking first away game for me as I am on nights that day and will be able to go to the game and get back with plenty of time to spare. It is going to be a difficult season with some quality teams in there so it is important to get a good start, not like last year hopefully. I am sure that we are going to be on a roller coaster ride again so bring it on
Can't we just fast forward to January as it doesn't matter what you do in the first half of the campaign, as we Almost proved last year. Things hppen in Feb/March so lets get it on.
Im guessing we could get anywhere between 6 and 12 points in the first month, hopefully 12, but that would need some SIGNINGS! aarrggh! ... sorry ... back to reality
I think that 2 games that could shape our season are Cardiff and Forest (both away) very early on in the season, if we come back with any points from these 2 fixtures i'll be happy for our prospects from then on
Why is the first and last game away? if the first game is away the last game should be home! what as gone wrong with the computer FFS!!!!
That hurts..cuts me to the core....by the way im third from the left...taken just before my arm fell off.....
