Been on the web to order two tickets for the chavs game, and it says there are no tickets available. Have they given us a ridiculously low allocation, or doesnt LCFC Direct work outside of normal office hours ?

I think LCFC Direct is just generally ****.

I'm going to ring up Friday and get 2, I hope they aren't sold out. I can't see how they possibly could...

They usually give us 6000 tickets. If my memory serves me right, they gave Leeds 8,000 last year.

Wanted to go with a mate but he's not a season ticket holder, so I just got one for myself today just in case. The woman said we've sold 3,000 and been given an extra 3,000, she expects it to make general sale <ok>

We wont sell all 6 - reckon 4250...that's my guess.
BTW, it wouldn't be funny if we lost this one. I hope the players knwo what this game means to us fans. This is a potential banana skin and the press and media would love us to lose especially that once-great-now-twat Claridge!

I can't see us selling less than 5,000 myself. Weren't we close to that last year? And that wasn't an opening game and we were playing ****.

You're right it would not be funny - but I've got a feeling we will. Those Chavs always seem to start well and we should in theory have a slow start with all the new players. Our players need to realised how important this whole season in particular is for us - Everyone wants us to fail and it would be difficult to take if we did. It's a massive chance to go up and we won't accept any excuses.

I just hope if we do get off to a slow start we rectify it quickly. With Sousa it snowballed out of control until the fans and players had lost faith in him.
