How do you think Coutinho compares to these similar types of players?

I say he is better than Oscar and Eriksen but Silva and Ozil are better.

I think Oscar is slightly better. Silva is better. Ozil has been terrible if you ask me, and I'm not a fan of Eriksen.

Potentially he could be better than all four, too early to tell though.

Not up there with Oscar (yet)...
Oscar, Mata, Silva and Ozil are better #10s right now, but he's younger than the lot of them and could be just as good..

Form wise, I'd take Silva ahead of him but none of the others.
Assuming all were on form, I'd have Mata, Silva and Ozil over him without a doubt. He's got a long way still to go though, he has youth on his side.

Better than Oscar imo, but I may well be biased...

I really don't rate Oscar that highly, he's good but nothing that special.

    Silva=Ozil>Coutinho>Erkisen=Oscar tbh

    1. Silva
    2. Coutinho
    3. Ozil *
    4. Cazorla Mata Oscar

Ozil HAS got to implement a snippy aspect to his game, or the rest of his qualities will be wasted.

If I'm honest I'd say he was not as good as either of them except Eriksen who I would say he is on a par with.

If he can improve his consistency and shooting ability then maybe.

Oscar is basically him with a scoring touch.

    Silva
    Oscar/courthino
    Ozil
    Eriksen

This is on current form. Courthino has been great last two matches and his work rate has been up with the rest of the team. I'd also put sterling in there because he was phenomenal today. On current form I'd put sterling alongside silva.

  9. Only one I'd put below our Ford is Eriksen, and I'm a big fan of the Dane too.

Coutinho needs to add consistency to his game before being ranked with the others. He has the potential to become the best though.

  11. Only one of them had my interest at any one time; Silva. None where realistic at the time they were signed. Erilsen is the only one and I believe we'll see the true Dane next season so long as Spurs appoint a manager.

We might as well rescue him and increase our squad depth to cope with the CL <ok>

Money wise, then Coutinho wins IMO.

    Form wise, then Silva definitely.

Hate Eriksen, something really annoying about his pointy rodenty face. Based on this season...

    Silva
    Couts/Oscar
    Eriksen
    Ozil

    1. In case nobody noticed coutinho played left cm yesterday and played WELL, the others named here could not do that

    2. Coutinho has not played play maker 10 nearly all year, certainly not since Gerrard went regista. Ergo can't compare to others who have some freedom to do what they do and be covered

So all in all the kid has done well but has a lot of scope to improve in him.... Like 90 mins for example

Coutinho is the best because he plays for Liverpool.

More seriously you can't make the comparison between him and Mata or Silva as they are established star players. I think Oscar's rep is overblown and Eriksen has not proved himslf to be as good.

But MITO makes a good point, Ford is proving himself to be very adaptable.

wonder if we will see a different ozil next season, the one everyone was expecting lol.

Silva is the top player out the list for me but Coutinho is getting there and has time on his side to improve lots.

Oscar i was impressed with to start with, and thought they had some player, but compare him to hazard, and you can see the quality gap and he has lost a lot of form he had.

Ozil will only come good if Wenger manages him better and gives him more to aim at.

Ozil should play 70mins then carzorla or rosisky come on for him.

then ok if he's got giroud who's slow to pass to he needs players like walcott's pace or even podolski to get past the target man and in behind for passes.

I just feel that arsenal need to construct their side just a tad better.... flamini and ramsey are vital to ozil but they have the first 11 to win this leaue, but not the reserves/squad or whatever, not i nthe regista/box to box role in midfield and certainly not up front.
